Jakob D. Robinson

Jakob "Big Red" Robinson, passed away peacefully on Friday July 4, 2025 at his home surrounded by friends and family after a long and courageous battle with liver disease. Jakob was born in Elmira, NY on June 30, 1998 to William and Robyn (Christian) Robinson. Jakob attended schools in Phoenix, NY where he excelled in wrestling & football. He loved to cook and especially loved his job at Hosmars Marina in Ogdensburg, NY. Jakob had a generous and loving heart and his family will always remember with pride how he took care of his grandmother in her final days suffering with dementia. Jakob was predeceased by his father, his grandparents and his beloved Morgan. Jakob leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother Robyn, longtime family friend Hal Thivierge, brothers, Jeffrey Robinson, James Robinson, including many cousins, especially his cousin/bestfriend, Jake Christian.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4-6pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Hospice of the Finger Lakes for their support and compassion in Jakob's final days.
