James A. "Vageli" Bower, 67, of Liverpool, passed away on Wednesday at Crouse Hospital after a brief illness. He was born on June 5, 1949 in Syracuse and served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam Era. He was a Mopar enthusiast, enjoyed boating, his grandchildren and family.
He was predeceased by his parents and sister Toni. Surviving are his wife Gail, son Michael Van Slyke, 4 grandchildren, Mikayla, Stephanie,Talan, Joshua, niece Taylor, nephew David M. (Haleigh) Evangelista and 2 great nieces.
The family will be having a celebration of life at a later date.
