James L. Dineen, 85, of Syracuse, passed away April 2, 2020.
He was born in Syracuse to the late Lawrence and Olga Dineen on January 16, 1935. Jim was an avid outdoorsman, spending a lot of his time hunting and fishing. He was employed with BAC Local 2 NY/VT out of Syracuse as a mason.
He is survived by his children, Debra (David) Bearup; Michael (Laurinda) Dineen, and Laurence (Mary Ellen) Dineen; sister, Mary Dineen; 8 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Jim was predeceased by his beloved wife, Lorraine, on March 10, 2020. Brother, John Dineen
A private graveside service will be held at the Fyler Settlement Cemetery. A celebration of Jim's life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Salvation Army, 677 South Salina Street Syracuse, NY 13202.
