January 28, 2005 James E. McLaurin Jr., 67, of Mattydale, died Friday at the home of his caretakers, Angela and Pat Lane. He was born in SC and retired from Hutchings Psych. Center after 21 years. He was predeceased by two children, James "Jr." and Sherry Schaub.He is survived by five children: Curtis, Wesley, Duane McLaurin, and Ernest and Monica Schaub, all of Syracuse; and 17 grandchildren. Services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at New Comer Family Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, 705 North Main Street.
