James J. "Jim" Forkey

James J. "Jim" Forkey, 78, of Bridgeport, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2025 peacefully at his home. He was born in Johnson City, NY on August 24, 1946 son of the late James and Laura Forkey. Jim retired from Crouse Hinds after 25 years of employment. Jim loved to travel visiting every state except Hawaii and he has a shot glass to prove it. He also has traveled to South America and throughout Europe. 

He was predeceased by his parents. 

He is survived by his loving husband and partner of 58 years, David Tepsa, his cousin, Anette Johnson, along with 5 beloved cats. 

In keeping with the wishes of Jim, there will be no calling hours. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
