James H. Gallagher, 59, of Pennellville, passed away Thursday after a long illness. He was an avid fisherman, a devoted husband, father and grandfather and had a unmatched zest for life.
James is survived by his wife, Barbara; son, James; daughters, Kimberly Gallagher-Durfey (David), Michelle (Leamon) Manley and Maggie; grandsons, Ryan, Trad and Donovan; sisters, Rosie, Candy and Jeannine and nephews.
Services will be Saturday 7 p.m. at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse. Calling hours will be Saturday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
