James F. O'Brien, 79, of North Syracuse, passed away Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital, after a long illness. He is a lifetime resident of North Syracuse and retired from GE after 40 yrs.
He is survived by his wife of 60yrs, Emily O'Brien; a son, James J. (Cindy) O'Brien of Evans Mills, NY; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Thursday, 10 AM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse. Burial will follow in the Hillside Cemetery, Central Square. Calling Hours will be Wednesday from 4-7 PM at the funeral home.
