James P. McGregor, 66, of Parish, passed away unexpectedly on Friday. He was a member of the 174th TFW at Hancock Field, known as "The Boys from Syracuse". He enjoyed spending time with family, fishing, camping and taking care of "Man's best friend".
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Donna (Whittaker) McGregor; two sons, James McGregor and Michael (Jennifer) McGregor; three granddaughters, Aniessa, Alyson and Samantha; three sisters, Janet Holtzclaw, Carol Mathewson and Laura Pratt; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Friday from 1-4PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will follow at 4PM.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Humane Association.
