James Littlejohn Palleschi, born on May 27, 1967, passed away on his 59th birthday, May 27, 2026. His life was a testament to dedication, warmth, and a genuine love for those around him.
James found joy and fulfillment in his work at Mel’s Greenhouse, where his passion for nurturing plants reflected his care for the world and people around him. He also cherished his time working for Colgate University, further demonstrating his commitment to community and service. Among his simple pleasures, James enjoyed scratch-off tickets, a hobby that brought a spark of excitement and fun to his everyday life.
Beyond his professional achievements and hobbies, James was known for the deep affection he held for family and friends. His presence was a source of comfort and camaraderie, as he valued every moment spent with those he loved.
James is survived by his devoted twin brother, Vincent (Jane) Palleschi; his sister, Charlotte (William) Adams; and his brother, John Kuppermann. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and great-nephews, all of whom carry forward the warmth and love that defined James’s life.
A visitation to honor and remember James will take place on June 7, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, located at 705 N Main St, Syracuse, NY 13212. This gathering will offer an opportunity for all who knew James to come together, share memories, and celebrate a life lived with kindness and sincerity.
In remembering James Littlejohn Palleschi, we honor a man whose gentle spirit and earnest heart touched the lives of many. His legacy endures in the family and friends who continue to hold him dear.
