James E. Reakes

James E. Reakes 74, of Brewerton, passed away August 30, 2025. James was born in Syracuse, New York on June 13, 1951 to Samuel and Zelda Reakes. 

James retired from Walmart as a truck driver. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

In addition to his parents, James was predeceased by his brother, Samuel Reakes and sister, Judy Reakes.

He is survived by his spouse of 53 years, Sharleen S. Reakes; two sons, James Reakes and Eric Reakes of Brewerton; four daughters, Jenny (Jeremy) Reakes of Pulaski, Sarah (Tom) Dufrane of Central Square, Misty Hubbell of Auburn, Noelle (Josh) Reakes of North Syracuse; 13 grandchildren; one great grandchild.

Family and friends may call on Thursday, September 4, 2025 from  3PM-6PM at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 705 N Main St, N. Syracuse, NY.
