Jane M. Ryan, 80, formerly of Cicero, passed away on Wednesday January 7,2026 peacefully surrounded by loving family. Jane was born in Watertown, NY on July 16,1945 daughter of the late David and Leoda Arnold. She was a graduate of North Syracuse High School, Class of '63. In Jane's early years, she and her husband Gary, were close friends of the local band Southern Comfort. They found great joy following them wherever they would perform around Central New York. Jane enjoyed her camping trips to Bass Lake & East Coast Resorts in Parish, NY. Jane was also an avid gardener and bowler. Jane retired from Driver's Village in Cicero after several years.

Jane was predeceased by her husband, Gary Ryan, her daughter, Kelley Ryan, brother, David Arnold, and her 2 grandchildren, Tiffany & Ian Fry.

She is survived by her 3 children, Cheryl Fry, Shawn Ryan, Amy VanSteenburgh (Bill Phillips), 10 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday January 15, 2026 from 4-6pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Funeral services and burial will be private at North Syracuse Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Diabetes Association.
