Jay M Seager

Jay Martin Seager, 68, of North Syracuse, passed away July 4th, 2026.

He was born in Syracuse on Januaury 14th, 1958 to Clifford R. Seager and Dorothy J. Palmer.

Jay attended North Syracuse schools, and retired from A & P auto parts after several years.

An amateur musician Jay liked nothing better than to get out one of his guitars and play the latest song he was working on, particularly for family and friends at one of his backyard BBQ and pool parties. The 4th of July was always his favorite.

Jay was predeceased by both his parents and his sister, Elaine Riker.

He is survived by his three brothers and a sister, as well as many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews; all of whom loved and will miss him.

The family wishes to wholeheartedly thank Amy and the caring staff at St. Joe's Hospital.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 9th, 2026, from 6pm to 8pm at New Comer Cremations and Funerals located at 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse NY, 13212.
