Jean R. Burdick

Jean R. Burdick, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away on June 22, 2025, in Clay, NY, at the age of 65. Born on May 16, 1960, in Syracuse, NY, she brought warmth and joy to those around her throughout her life.

Jean dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her role as a homemaker, nurturing her home and family with care and devotion. She took immense pride in raising her children, Kevin, Justin, Sara, and Rebecca, always ensuring that their needs were met and their dreams encouraged. Jean was particularly proud of her involvement in the community; she served as a Girl Scout Leader for both Sara and Rebecca, imparting valuable life lessons and creating lasting memories.

Beyond her family, Jean had a deep appreciation for nature, finding joy in tending to her garden where she often delighted in watching the hummingbirds visit her feeders. Her love for the simple pleasures of life was evident, which included her affection for the cartoon character Snoopy.

She leaves behind her husband, Greg Burdick; her children, Kevin, Justin, Sara, and Rebecca; siblings, Leon (Audrey) Krull Jr., Mark (Pat) Krull, Lynn (Bob) Broussard, and Susan (Kevin) Krull; along with several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who will cherish her memory.

Jean is preceded in death by her parents, Leon M. Krull and Joan K. Butkins-Krull, and her sister, Anne K. Krull - Allmon. Her legacy of love and dedication will continue to inspire all who knew her.

In keeping with Jean's wishes, there will be no services.
