Jerome P. "Jerry" Stanitis, 71, of Volney, passed away on Wednesday peacefully in the warm embrace of his best friend and wife, Linda. Jerry was born on December 7th, 1943 to Jerome and Ruth Stanitis of Ashland, Pennsylvania and retired from Black Clawson/Davis Standard as a machinist.
He was an all-around carpenter, electrician and handyman. He loved life, the outdoors and cherished his family. Jerry was a very loving and nurturing man who touched many people's lives.
He was predeceased by his parents.
Jerry is survived by his best friend and wife, Linda; daughter, Robin and son-in-law, Ed with grandchildren, Alan and Emma; son, Joel and daughter-in-law, Cherie with grandchildren, Courtney and Katelyn; daughter, Melissa and son-in-law, Ryan with grandchildren, Ethan and Lily; brother, Ken and sisters, Shirley and Corrine.
No services will be held.
