Jill D. Emery

Jill D. Emery, 67, of Liverpool, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. She was born in New Castle, Indiana on December 24, 1957 to Roger and Joan Emery. Jill grew up in Hagerstown, Indiana, graduating with honors from Hagerstown High School in 1976. She went on to graduate Cum Laude from Ball State University in 1980, earning a B.A in Visual Communications. Her desire to explore new horizons brought her to CNY in 1988, after accepting a position at The Post Standard as a Circulation Promotional Artist.

Preceding her in death were her parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and beloved friend, Charla Denny.

She is survived by her daughter, Ashlea Emery; her grandson, Owen Emery; her sister, Jane Muller; her brother-in-law, Jeff Muller; her nephew, Chris Muller; former husband, Sovan Mukherjee; several cousins; and several cherished friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025 from 2-4PM at New Heart Ministries in Baldswinsville, NY. A second Celebration of Life will be held in her honor in Indiana on May 24, 2025
