Joan J. Dyer

Joan “Jane” Dyer, 88, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2025 at Francis House. Jane was preceded in death by her son, Michael Dyer. 

She is survived by her sister, Frances (Raymond) Scouten; sister-in-law, Alia (Richard) McClusky; brother-in-law, Nick (Dorothy) Gibides; grand-daughters, Brittany Currie & Taylor Wharton; great-granddaughter, Teagan Wharton; and several nieces and nephews. 

A funeral mass will be held Thursday, May 1, 2025, 10AM, at Holy Family Church, 127 Chapel Dr., Syracuse, NY 13219. Jane will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
