Joey Rossman, born on August 4, 1959, passed away on June 14, 2026. He will be remembered for his warm smile and joyful presence that lit up every room he entered. Throughout his life, Joey carried a happy spirit and deep love for his family and friends, embracing moments spent together with genuine delight.
Joey graduated from Oswego County BOCES, where he laid the foundation for his dedication and work ethic. He most recently worked as kitchen help at Ruby Tuesday’s, a role he cherished and from which he retired after many years of committed service. His colleagues and those who knew him appreciated the cheerful demeanor he maintained even during busy days.He found particular joy in simple pleasures: annual trips to the State Fair, swimming, and bowling were some of the activities that brightened his days. Notably, Halloween held a special place in Joey’s heart—he delighted in the fun of scaring people, reveling in the playful spirit of the holiday.
Joey is survived by his loving mother, Joan Rossman; his sister, Joann (Will) Dwyer; his brother, Jeff (Pam) Rossman; and several nieces and nephews who fondly remember his kindness and lively character.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jon Leon Rossman.
Joey’s life was marked by a joyful heart and a love for those close to him. He will be deeply missed, and his memory cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
