John Ellis

John “Jack” Ellis, 88 of Camillus, NY, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2025 with his loving family by his side. Born on July 3, 1937 in Syracuse, NY to the late Franklin and Edith Ellis. 

He proudly served in the U.S. Army. He loved bowling, football, golfing, and spending time with friends and family.

 He is survived by his children, Stacey (Norman) Humphrey, Serena (Mark) Hunter and Steve (Lynn) Ellis; grandchildren, Amanda, Alicia, Samantha, Mallorie, Zachary, Mason and Owen; great-grandchildren, Jay, Lucas, Evelyn, Logan, Jace, Jack, Max, Vanessa, Alexander, Willow, Oliver, Caleb and Landyn; girlfriend, Roseann McConnell and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

 He was a friend of Bill W. for 50 years.

 Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St. North Syracuse, NY 13212 on Monday, August 18, 2025 from 9am-12pm. Funeral Services will follow at 12pm. Burial will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners, NY.
