John M. Moore

John M. Moore, 78, of North Syracuse, passed away August 6, 2025 at home surrounded by family members. John was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania on November 14, 1946 to John and Ann Moore. John retired from Boy Scouts of America where he had been employed as a Property Manager. In his free time, he enjoyed reading, sports, music and was an avid Red Sox fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his spouse of 56 years, Suzanne E. Moore; daughter, Kristin Zimmerman of Delaware, Ohio; son, Douglas (Staci Anne) Moore of Mohnton, PA; four Grandsons, Patrick Moore, Sean Moore, Ian Zimmerman, Jack Zimmerman; granddaughter, Hannah Zimmerman; two sisters and several nieces and nephews.
