Jorge "Pito" Rivera

Jorge “Pito” Rivera, 72 of Warners, NY, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, October 30, 2026. He was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on April 23, 1954 to the late Victor and Ana Rivera.

 Jorge was a generous, free spirited family man. He enjoyed cooking and dancing in the kitchen. His sense of humor brought light into any room. He never hesitated to help family and friends with projects, as he was “Mr. Fixit.” He was a giver and a loving person to us all.

 He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Sharon; daughter, Carrie Rivera; granddaughter, AnaMae; siblings, Benny (Roxanne) Acosta, Ramona Rivera, Ines Castro, Beatriz (Bob) Devereaux, Anna Jimenez, Virginia Rivera, Felipe Rivera and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

 Predeceased by his brothers, Angel Perez, Victor Rivera and Rafael Rivera and sister, Manuela Rivera.

 Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals on Friday, November 6, 2026 from 4-7pm. Funeral Services will follow at 7pm.

 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Suny Upstate Cancer Center, 750 E. Adams St., Syracuse, NY 13210.
