Joseph P. Lisi

Joseph P. Lisi died peacefully on March 25th, 2026. He was born to Frank and Alfreda Lisi on October 19, 1942, and spent his youth working on the family farm. He worked at New Venture Gear for twenty years and retired in 1999. Not one to sit still, he then worked for the Highway Department in the Town of Clay, and later the Town of Hastings, until 2016.

In 1993, he married his wife, Linda. They found each other later in life, at a time when they needed each other the most, and they had 36 happy years together.

Joe was a hardworking man with a kind heart who enjoyed basketball especially SU and the NY Knicks. He was the ultimate good neighbor, and no one on their block ever had to worry about shoveling their driveway!

Joe is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Linda Lisi; sons, Frank Lisi (Lori), Joseph Lisi Jr and Shawn Lisi; stepdaughter, Beth (John) Bukowski; granddaughter, Courtney Irvin; three great grandchildren; godchild, Josie Losurdo; and his cat Lily.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, North Syracuse, on Tuesday, March 31st from 4-6PM with service to follow.
