Joseph F. McConnell

Joseph Francis McConnell Jr., 84, of Liverpool, passed away February 23, 2026. Joe was born in Auburn, New York on November 15, 1941 to the late Joseph Sr. and Edna McConnell. 

Joe worked at UPS for 36 years. He was a proud veteran who served in the Vietnam war. Joe was also proud of his Irish heritage and sang with the Tom Dooley Choraliers for many years. 

He was predeceased by his parents; and siblings, Joan, Patrick, Robert, James, Michael, William, Ann Marie, Adrienne, and Donald. 

He is survived by his children, Bridget McConnell, Colin McConnell, Caitlin McConnell and their families; his siblings, Walter, Mary, Gregory, and Theresa. 

Per Joe's wishes, there will be no services and a private spring burial. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Rose of Lima Church North Syracuse, or Silver Fox Adult Day Center (22 E. Genesee St. Baldwinsville, NY 13027).
