Joseph M. Thornton, 54, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully with his loving companion Robin by his side on January 18, 2019.
Joe was a proud Navy veteran who served two tours of duty in Beirut. He leaves to cherish his memory; his mother and stepfather, Cathy and Paul Bartels; sons, Joseph and Joshua Thornton; and several cousins.
Per his wishes there will be no calling hours.
A burial will take place on January 30th at 12pm at Onondaga Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 4069 Howlett Hill Rd, Syracuse, NY 13215.
