Judith Ann Barkley

Judith A. Barkley, 79, of Clay passed away peacefully on July 18, 2024 with her husband holding her hand.

Judy was a faithful member of the Cicero United Methodist Church where she helped in whatever way she could, including teaching an Adult Sunday school class. She cared for children for many years and loved them like her own. She worked in market research after she retired from childcare. She was a member of Alpha Iota sorority for close to 30 years. She was kindhearted and loving and cared for the young and old throughout her life. She was always ready to lend a hand or to listen to someone who needed it.

She will be remembered for her sweet and loving personality.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Norman Barkley, her daughters Suzanne (Paul) Coe and Cynthia (Paul) Wodzenski, her grandchildren Jacob Zinszer and Julia Zinszer, and her many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 4-6 PM at Cicero United Methodist Church, Cicero, NY followed by a Celebration of Life.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Cicero United Methodist Church.
