Judith Ann Gill

Judith Ann Gill passed away on August 30, 2026, at her home in Syracuse. She was born on August 10, 1945, in Syracuse, New York, and throughout her life remained deeply connected to the communities she called home, residing in East Syracuse, Delphi Falls, Eaton, and Syracuse.

Judith was a longtime employee at Phillips Broadband and Lockheed-Martin. She was also a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest happiness was found in the people she loved. She enjoyed spending time with family, was an avid reader, and loved musicals and comedies. She was especially known for enjoying cooking for everyone, an expression of the care and generosity that marked her life.

Her faith was also an important part of her life. Judith was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and had recently begun attending Robinson Elmwood United Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Gill Sr., with whom she shared 55 years of marriage and her brother, Charles.

Judith is survived by her children, Tina, Donald Jr., Michelle (Todd) and Russell (Mary). She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Walter Russell, Samantha Lynn, Russell II, Joseph, and Jennifer, as well as her great-grandchildren, Aislyn, Tori, and Chloe. She is further survived by her sister, Donna. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, who will remember her with love and gratitude.

Visitation will be held on September 16, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N Main St, Syracuse, NY 13212. A memorial service will follow there at 6:00 p.m.

Judith will be laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery with her husband, Donald Gill, Sr.
