Judy Ann McMahon

Judy Ann McMahon, 79, of Central Square, NY, passed away July 22, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 9, 1946 in Albany, NY.

She was a free spirit who enjoyed going on adventures, camping, and being in the outdoors. Most of all, she enjoyed having a cup of coffee with family and friends while making memories. She took everyone under her wings, and was a “Mom” to all she met. She was one of God’s angels on earth. She retired from catering at the Zoo, where she had many wonderful friends she considered family. 

 She was predeceased by her father, Roy Halsdorf; mother, Frances Hilton; her best friend; Edward McMahon; her brothers, Roy Halsdorf and Ted Halsdorf and her grandchildren, Ella, Evan, and Mallory.

 She is survived by her brothers, Henry Hilton, Donald Hilton; her sisters, Janice Ladd and Sue Sawyer; her son, Edward (Crystal) McMahon; and daughters; Frances (Chris) Asmus, Mary McMahon; son-in-law, Jeffrey Sullivan; her grandchildren, Isabella, Emily, Edward, Christopher, Colton, Riley, Makayla, Scott, Brayden, and Keaton and great-granddaughters, Grace and Valorie.

We would like to thank God for all the years he gave our mother to spend with us. We’re at peace that she’s home with God and pain free. She was a true warrior who showed such strength and kindness.

 Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse, NY 13212 on Thursday, July 31, 2025 from 5-7pm. Funeral Services will follow at 7pm.
