Kathryn Ann Orlowski

Kathryn Ann Orlowski, aged 81, of Cicero, New York, passed away on February 5, 2026. Born on November 27, 1944, in Buffalo, New York, Kathryn was the cherished daughter of Albert and Catherine Franz, who precede her in death.

Kathryn made significant contributions to her community through her career as a teacher at Liverpool Central School District, where she dedicated her life to education. Her passion for teaching left a lasting impact on the many children whose lives she touched, becoming an inspiration to them and their families. Outside of her teaching career, Kathryn had a deep love for teddy bears, a whimsical reflection of her nurturing spirit.

Family was at the heart of Kathryn's life. She is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Robert C. Orlowski,  her three beloved children: Charles A. Orlowski, Lisa (Adam) Shereyk, and Jennifer Orlowski; sister Julie (Darryl) Fuchs.  Kathryn also took immense joy in her role as a grandmother to five grandchildren: Paige, Jenna, Hollie, Bridgette, and Casey, as well as one great-granddaughter, Indy Sloan.

Kathryn's appreciation for nature was evident in her love for spending serene moments outdoors, particularly from her gazebo, where she enjoyed watching the world around her and the birds that frequented her yard. She also spent many cherished summers and early adulthood at the family cottage in Lime Lake, Machias, NY, where she created joyful memories.

Kathryn's life will be honored in private funeral services. Her legacy will continue to be felt by all who knew her, and her family invites those who wish to share memories or messages to do so in their guest book.
