Kathy Badgley

Kathy Badgley, a loving mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2025, just a few days shy of her 74th birthday. Born on December 11, 1951, Kathy dedicated most of her life to the food industry, where she brought joy to many through her work. Her vibrant personality made her an all-around character, and she cherished her family above all else.

Kathy had a passion for decorating, especially during the holidays, and her favorite song, "Santa Baby," reflected her joyful spirit. She held dear memories of driving across the iconic Route 66 and treasured her vacations, which brought her immense happiness. Among her most cherished moments were the special dances she shared with her grandchildren, creating bonds that would last a lifetime. Kathy was also a devoted pet owner, adoring her fur babies, Sassy and Gypsy, who brought her much comfort and companionship.

She is survived by her daughters, Trisa Badgley, Antoinette (Frank) Cribus, and Anastasia Badgley; her son, Timothy (Tammy) Butera; ten beloved grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren. Kathy's warmth and love will continue to resonate in the hearts of her family and friends, who will forever remember her as a nurturing and caring presence in their lives.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Grant and Geraldine Shager. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for the love she shared and the joy she brought to those around her.

A visitation will be held in her memory on December 10, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, located at 705 N Main St, Syracuse, NY 13212.
