Kenneth K. Cunningham, 91, of North Syracuse, passed away peacefully at home with his family on Sunday. He was a WWII veteran and served during the Berlin Crisis. Ken was a retired member of the 174th Air National Guard "The Boys from Syracuse". He was an active blood donor with the American Red Cross, donating over 22 gallons over his lifetime. He was an avid model airplane flyer and was a member of the Oneida Lake Flyers. He is predeceased by his wife, Lillian on May 26, 1996; and a son, Timothy.
Ken is survived by four daughters, Sandra (Fred) Buffham, Linda (Heidi Fearn) Cunningham, Susan (Douglas, dec.) Martin and Deborah (Charley) Eastwood; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will follow at 7PM.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Hospice of CNY.
