Lee C. Vogelsang, 92, of Liverpool, NY passed away at Iroquois Nursing Home after a brief illness. He was born in Syracuse, NY on October 27, 1933 to the late Leland Vogelsang and Mildred Vogelsang.
He was a devoted husband to his wife of 65 years, Loretta (Ezzo) Vogelsang, who preceded him in death in April 2020. He retired from P&C Warehouse after 25 years of service. He was a quiet man, but will be remembered for his oneliners, corny jokes and scratch off lottery tickets. He also enjoyed visiting the casinos and doing the Jumble puzzle in the paper.
He is survived by his children, sons, Leland A. Vogelsang of Camillus, NY, Glenn D. Vogelsang, M.D. (Cecilia) of Oshkosh, WI, and loving and main caregiver daughter, Jeanne M. Comer (Thomas) of Clay, NY. A loving grandfather to Renee Vogelsang (Marcus),.
He is preceded in death by his siblings, Neil Vogelsang, Keith Vogelsang, Leatrice Morgan and Marlene Venton.
He is now at peace and joining his wife, together with all of his late family member on the other side.
