Leon E. "Bomber" Claeys, 83, of Marcellus, passed away on Wednesday. He was a family man who was a dedicated individual. He worked 30 years for Jordan Wire and Cable. Leon and his wife, Mary loved working at the "veggie stand". He enjoyed the outdoors feeding the animals.
He is predeceased by his wife, Mary.
Bomber is survived by his sons, Leon Claeys Jr. and Larry (Patrice) Claeys; a brother, Robert (Roberta) Claeys from Rochester; and all his extended family and friends.
In keeping with Bomber's wishes, there will be no services or calling hours.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Kirkpatrick Day Treatment Program, 441 W. Kirkpatrick St., Syracuse, NY 13204.
