Linda E. Dardaris, 82, of North Syracuse, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Wednesday September 3, 2025, at St. Joseph's Hospital after a battle with cancer. Linda was born in Syracuse on October 13, 1942 daughter of the late Joseph and Elaine Trini. Linda retired after a distinguished career at Haylor, Freyer & Coon in Syracuse, where she earned several promotions over the years and ultimately served as Vice President.
She was preceded in death by her longtime companion of over thirty years and beloved partner Jerry Rausa and sister Elizabeth Trini.
Known for her impeccable style, Linda had a passion for shopping and a special fondness for hat pins and sparkling jewelry. She formed deep and lasting friendships, many of which began during her time at Haylor. Known for her vibrant spirit, Linda had a passion for travel and often delighted in trips to the casino, embracing every moment with enthusiasm. Above all, her proudest legacy lives on in her daughter Jami, her grandsons Markie and Jojo, who brought her endless joy, and her treasured great-granddaughter Maya.
She is survived by her daughter, Jami (Mark) Dardaris-Mohorter, 7 grandchildren, Mark III (Rachel), Joseph (Juliana), Ashleigh (Sam and children Klara and Donovan), Liam, Seaver, Brayden, Kaston, great grandchild Maya, 2 sisters, Judith Trini, Joan Schwock, and beloved best friend, Polo.
Linda lived her life with grace, style, and generosity. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday September 9, 2025 from 10-11am at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with services at 11am. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
