Linda B. Cook, born on November 22, 1960, in Wellsville, NY, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2025, in Liverpool, NY, surrounded by her family. Linda was a vibrant soul whose passion for helping others shone brightly throughout her life. For 17 years, she dedicated herself to the field of physical therapy, serving as a Physical Therapist Assistant at CNY Physical Therapy and Aquatic Center, from which she proudly retired in 2023.
Linda was a loving wife to Thomas E. Cook, with whom she shared 40 years of marriage and a devoted mother to their son, Aaron T. Cook. Her family was her heart, and the love they shared resonated deeply in every corner of their lives. She is survived by her siblings, Sharon (Dennis) Snyder, Mark (Janice) Geffers, and Andy (Holly) Geffers, along with a close-knit circle of aunts, including Joanne Wilkins and Janet Pearse; and uncle, Dr. Glenn Schaefer. She was also beloved by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A graduate of Orange County Community College, Linda immersed herself in various interests that brought her joy and creativity. An avid scrap booker, she transformed memories into beautiful albums, capturing moments in time that will be treasured forever. Each page reflected a celebration of family milestones, laughter, and love. On Sundays, you could find her attending Northside Church in Liverpool, where she engaged deeply with her community
Linda’s legacy is built upon the love she shared and the lives she touched. She is predeceased by her parents, Donald and Grace (Pero) Geffers and a brother, Timothy B. Geffers.
Per Linda's wishes, a graveside service at South Onondaga Cemetery will be held privately.
