Lois E. Talmadge, 77, of Liverpool, passed away on Monday at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 30, 1935, in Fulton, daughter of Irving and Helen Taylor. She was a licensed Chaplain at Abundant Life Christian Center. Lois ministered at local nursing homes and also ministered to the elderly at church.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Joanne in 2000, 4 brothers: James, Kenneth, Everett, & Robert Taylor, along with 2 sisters: Jane Barker & Mary Jodway.
Surviving are her husband, Bob of 39 years, 2 daughters: Christine (Jerry) Chomiak, Sherry Stanek, 3 sons: Gary (Sherry) Bartlett, Elmer (Deborah) Bartlett, Larry Bartlett, a son-in-law, Mike Gottschalk, stepchildren: Robert, Charles & Edward Talmadge, Kim Vincent, Lori Talmadge, Donna Durrant, 21 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren, 6 step great grandchildren, 2 sisters: Katherine Aman & Shirley Davenport, 2 brothers: Charles & Martin Taylor.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4-7pm at New Comer Funeral
Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse. Services will be held on Friday 10am at the Abundant Life Christian Center. 7000 All Nations Blvd., East Syracuse, NY 13057.
