Louis J. Mort, 88, of North Syracuse, New York died Saturday, December 31, 2011 at James Square Health & Rehab Centre in Syracuse, New York.
Lou retired from Smith & Caffrey Steel in 1988 following 29 years. He was a member of Cicero United Methodist Church. Lou was a former mall walker at Carousel Center.
Surviving are his loving wife of 65 years, Vera; children, Rev. Wayne (Sheri) Mort, Marti Stine, Jan (Gary) Dahl, Laura (Chris) Nosiglia and Edward (Kathy) Mort; 11 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service will be 3 PM on Saturday January 7, 2012 at Cicero United Methodist Church, 8416 Brewerton Road, Cicero, New York.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Make-A-Wish CNY, 5005 Campuswood Dr., East Syracuse, NY 13057.
