Marianne Miner

Marianne Miner, 88, of Dixon Rd., Camden, NY, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 23, 2026, peacefully in her sleep, at Rome Memorial Hospital. Marianne was born on June 23, 1938 in Danzig, Germany to the late Reinhold and Elfreda Taubert.

Marianne was a devoted Christian, a dedicated wife of 48 years to the late Gerry L Miner; and a mother of three. She worked for Dr. Richard Klug DDS in Camden, NY, as an office manager until retiring in the mid 90's.

Marianne is survived by her son, Timothy (Luanne) Miner of Camden, NY; daughter, Tina (Rick) Leathers of Saint Johns, FL; grandsons, Kyle Miner of Camden, NY and Zachary Rowe of Hortense, GA; granddaughter, Stephanie (Daniel) Williams of Jacksonville, FL; step granddaughter, Jessica (Christopher) Bouton of Lee Center, NY; nephews, Thomas and Kevin Miner of Lacona, NY.

Also surviving are her family in Germany, sister, Reinhilda (Hans) Taubert; brother, Seigfred (Ulla) Taubert; sister-in-law, Norma Taubert in Columbia, South America, as well as several nieces and nephews in Germany and South America.

Marianne was predeceased by her husband, Gerry Miner, who passed in 2006; her youngest daughter, Teresa Harris of Charlotte NC, passed 2025; son-in-law, Arthur Harris, passed 1994; sister, Ursula Taubert of Germany, passed 2026; and Menfred Taubert of Columbia, South America, passed 2016.
