Martin P. McLaughlin, 69, of Syracuse, passed away August 7, 2025 surrounded by family. Martin was born in Syracuse, New York on May 6, 1956 to Harold and Aurelia McLaughlin. Martin retired from Avis Car Rental, Syracuse where he was a Manager. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing, loved to spend time with family and friends, was an avid sports fan, loved oldies music and movies, having parties and entertaining at home. He was preceded in death by his Father, Harold McLaughlin; Mother, Aurelia McLaughlin and Brother, Daniel McLaughlin.

He is survived by his Spouse of 38 years, Lisa McLaughlin, Two Sons, Kristopher (Tabetha) Welch of Syracuse, Timothy (Alicia)McLaughlin of Wellington, Florida; Daughter, Jennifer (Paul Bullock) McLaughlin of Syracuse; Two Sisters, Margaret Millert of Cazenovia, Mary (Arthur) D'Addario of Lafayette; Six Brothers, Thomas (Marcia) McLaughlin of Buffalo; Joseph (Marilyn) McLaughlin of Watertown, Peter (Thamara) McLaughlin of Florida, James (Marianne) McLaughlin of Liverpool, Matthew (Nancy) McLaughlin of Wisconsin, Patrick (Leni) McLaughlin of Albany; 4 grandchildren, Lillith Welch, Riley Welch, Wren Welch and Charlie McLaughlin. and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call on Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 10 am - 12 pm at Pitcher Hill Community Church, 605 Bailey Rd, North Syracuse with services to follow at 12 Noon.
