Mary Louise Betts

Mary Louise Betts, 80, of Central Square, took her last breath on July 25, 2025 surrounded by her family. Mary Lou was a devoted wife to her husband Robert Betts for 63 years and a devout mother to her 5 children. She also raised 2 great granddaughters and one granddaughter throughout the years. Mary Lou was an outgoing adventurous woman who always welcomed you to make you feel at home. She enjoyed family gatherings, camping, fishing, tinkering and making all kinds of contraptions. She also liked shooting her BB gun, gardening and taking long car rides.

Mary Lou was preceded in death by her sister, Joan Farmer.

She is survived by husband, Robert J. Betts, of 63 years, her children; Rebecca West, Robert J. Betts, Jr. (Michelle Gugliuzza), Charles D. Betts, Ronald W. Betts (Marie Mattice), Christopher M. (Sandi) Betts, grandchildren, Crystal, Ricky, Mariah, Jackie, great grandchildren Hailey Rose West, Kaleigh Marie West, and many other great great grandchildren, sisters, Diane Johnson, Joyce Comstock, Sharon Keating and brother, Jim Freeden.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
