Mary A. Formica

It is with heavy hearts, for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Mary A. Formica, 95, on June 24, 2026. Mary passed peacefully after a short illness at Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital, in Syracuse, New York.

She was born in Syracuse, NY on March 9, to the late Frank and Frances Pavlas. She was predeceased by her devoted and loving husband, Vincent C. Formica, with whom they shared 73 years together.

Mary enjoyed cooking for and taking care of her family.

She also leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Formica) Felter, and her son, James A Formica, who both carry forward her spirit and values. Her grandchildren-Alexander and Ryan Felter, Chadwick Formica, and Elisabeth Formica. Mary also leaves behind a great-grandson, Triston Joseph.

Her family wishes to thank the staff at Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital for their compassionate care during her final days.

Funeral services are currently being planned and will be posted when completed.

Rest in peace, Mary, with the knowledge that you will remain forever in our hearts.
