MaryAnn Dwyer, 81, of Mattydale, passed away December 4, 2023. MaryAnn was born in Syracuse, New York on September 11, 1942 to the late Edward and Marion Murray.
MaryAnn was an avid prayer warrior. She spent her earlier years caring for children, and baking extravagant wedding cakes. She loved to lunch with friends and family. She enjoyed daily Amazon deliveries, debating Fox News, her diet Pepsi and dill pickle chips.
She was predeceased by her husband, James "Jimbo" Dwyer; and her brother, Edward "Bud" Murray.
She is survived by her son, Fred (Vicki) Smith; four daughters, Robin (Chris) Irvine, Kim (Richard "My Richie") Williams, Patti (Jack) Dwyer-VanFossen, Jessica (Derek) Foster; sister, Pat Smith; 7 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. A celebration of life service will be held Monday, Dec. 11, 4PM, at Abundant Life Church, 7000 All Nations Boulevard East Syracuse, NY 13057.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
