Maureen Helen Backus

Maureen Helen Backus, of Cicero, passed away at age 68, on September 15, 2025. Maureen was born in Fulton, NY on February 22, 1957. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, wife, and aunt. She had a love for sewing and cooking.

Maureen was preceded in death by her father, James Edward Egan; her mother, Helen Henrietta Holland; and her husband Kevin Lloyd Backus.

She is survived by her son, Isaac White; her two daughters, Melissa White (Peter Griffin) and Amy Backus; along with her two grandchildren, Isaac White Jr and Brant Griffin; and several brothers and one sister, in addition to several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Maureen's wishes, there will be no services. The burial will take place privately at Mexico Village Cemetery.
