Maureen A. Davison

Maureen A. Davison, 87, of Brewerton passed away on November 20, 2025, at the Cottages, Cicero, NY. She was a life resident of Brewerton, NY and Communicant of St Agnes/Divine Mercy Catholic Churches. She was employed by Western Electric, Syracuse, NY and worked 25 years at Brewerton Elementary School as the school Secretary. She was a loving wife, mother, and friend. She enjoyed gardening and had beautiful gardens at home.

She was predeceased by her parents Maurice and Gladys Shanahan, her beloved husband of 46 years, Ray C Davison and her siblings; Joan B. Scott and Richard J Shanahan.

She is survived by her children: Michael R.(Melissa) Davison, Maryellen A. (Harold) Bill and Joanne M.(Bruce) Reynolds. Her Granddaughters: Meghan C.(Tanner) Gartland. Raylinn M. Minghillo, and Michaela M. (Nicholas) Bell, And Great grand children: Riley M. Minghillo, Ryder R. Minghillo, Liam S. Gartland, Rory B. Gartland, and Charlotte M. Bell.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 from 4-6 PM at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.

A Funeral mass will be held Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at 9:30 AM at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, Central Square, NY .

Contributions in her memory may be made to the Brewerton Volunteer Fire Department.

The family wants to give special thanks to the nurses and assistants at the Cottages. Their care and compassion shown to Maureen was very much appreciated.
