Melissa Mulvey

Melissa A Mulvey, 64, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully in her home on August 11, 2026.

She was born on December 5, 1961 to James and Thelma Norris in Syracuse, NY.

Melissa was a proud Army Veteran stationed at Walter Reed Medical Center, then went on to work 25 years as an RN for Upstate University Hospital.

On October 19, 1996, Melissa married Charles Mulvey. They lived and raised their family together in Liverpool, NY.

She was a member of AA for 40 years, as well as a member of the Calvary Chapel of Syracuse.

Melissa is survived by her loving husband, Charles, sons, Joshua Allen, Zachary (Melanie) Allen, and Brandon Mulvey, sister, Laura Osborne, grandchildren, River, Tilda and Felix Allen, Jackson and Alaina Mulvey, as well as five nieces, and one nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother-in-law, Fred Osborne.

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 1pm-3pm, followed by a service at 3pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, North Syracuse, New York.

A private burial will be held at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you perform an act of kindness and pay it foreword in honor of Melissa.
