Mel Edick, 79, of N. Syracuse, passed away Monday after a short illness.
Mel retired from New Process Gear after 30 years of service only to start a new career at Turning Stone Casino for 15 years as a security guard.
He was an avid salmon fisherman and loved all SU sports.
Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Roslyn; his sons, Mike and Dave; his sister, Marion; a brother, Charles and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 4-7PM Thurs. at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. Funeral Service will be 11AM on Friday, also at the funeral home. Burial North Syracuse Cemetery.
