Melvin Hoffmeister, 84, of Syracuse passed away Tuesday. Born in Lyons, NY he was a self employed contractor.
He is survived by his wife; Isabelle Hoffmeister, a daughter; Darlene O'Brien, three grandchildren; Heather, Kaliegh and Scott O'Brien, 3 great grandchildren; Kasaundra, Joey and Shaun and a sister-in-law; Cindy (Jack) Blair.
Services will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM at New Comer Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Calling Hours will be held on Tuesday from 4-7 PM at the funeral home, 705 N Main St.
