Michael A. Bednar, 74, of Liverpool, passed away on January 12, 2017, surrounded by his family, after a short illness.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Carol Bednar; his two sons, James Bednar and Andrew (Nicole) Bednar; his two granddaughters, Kylah and Tirah Bednar and his sister, Mary Ann Rice of Cato.
Michael was an avid Yankee fan. He was retired from SUNY Upstate Medical Center after 30 years. The family would like to thank Hospice of CNY and the Home Aides who gave Michael excellent care during his final days.
There will be no calling hours.
A memorial service will be held in the spring.
