Michael B. Flowers

Michael Blair Flowers, 57, passed away on January 11, 2025, in North Syracuse, New York. Born on February 25, 1968, in Buffalo, New York, Michael lived a life marked by dedication to his work, deep love for music, and strong family bonds.

For 35 years, Michael worked tirelessly leading facilities and maintenance at Clay Court Apartments. His commitment and work ethic were evident to all who knew him professionally. He took pride in his role and the responsibilities that came with it, earning the respect of colleagues and residents alike.

Beyond his professional life, Michael was a gifted musician with a lifelong passion for music. An excellent guitar player, he was involved in several local bands during his younger years. Music remained a constant thread throughout his life—he was always ready to pick up one of his many guitars at family gatherings. One of the most cherished traditions was playing around the campfire every summer with his brothers during the annual family Fourth of July celebration. These moments of shared music and laughter became treasured memories for those who joined him.

Above all else, Michael was a proud father to his son Blair Flowers. His love for Blair was unwavering and evident in every aspect of his life.

He is survived by his beloved son Blair Flowers; brothers Craig (Jeannette) Flowers and Bill (Aimee) Flowers; sisters Kelly Flowers, Shelly (Mike) Nuzzo, and Tammy (Mike Barbato) Wiggins; as well as beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Donna and Blair Flowers.

Michael’s presence will be deeply missed by those who knew him—his family, friends, and all who shared in the warmth of his music and spirit. May his memory bring comfort to those who loved him.
