Michael J. Kelly Sr.

Michael J. Kelly Sr., 83, of Lakeland, NY passed away peacefully at Francis House on July 8, 2025 with his family by his side.

Mike is predeceased by his parents, Edmond Kelly and Mary Kelly-Lamb; his step father, Fred Lamb; his sisters, Agnes Sease, Alicia Paro, Patricia Widger, Arlene Kelly and Sarah Winslow; and one brother, Marvin (Sonny) Kelly.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Carol Kelly; son, Michael (Jerri Ann) Kelly Jr. of Ashboro, NC; daughters, Tammi Kelly of Baldwinsville, Wendy Kelly of Syracuse, Cindy (Ken) Anthony of Solvay and Tracy (Brian) Boisey of Baldwinsville; 11 grandchildren, Kyle, Amanda, Sean, Zachary, Abigail, Allison, Ryan, Megan, Trey, Madison, and Allison C.; and 4 great grandchildren, Kennedy, Millie, Sheperd and Wells. Loving gratitude to our dear friend, Sherry Golden who always put a smile on his face.

Mike will always be remembered as a loving husband and father. His family always came first with him. He was a hard worker and always gave his best effort in everything he did. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Mike worked at Greif Brothers Corp. in Solvay for 40+ years and at Rock Tenn in Solvay for 15 years.

We would like to thank the staff and volunteers at Francis House for their kindness and loving care they gave to Mike and our whole family during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Francis House of Syracuse.

Calling hours will be held Monday, July 21, 2025 from 10AM - 12PM with a service to follow at 12PM, both being held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, North Syracuse. The burial will be made in Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville.
