Michele was born to Robert H. McRobbie (deceased) and Kathleen (DeSantis) McRobbie in Syracuse, NY. Her sunrise was on September 26, 1969. Her sunset was on July 30, 2025 leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and resilience.
Michele is survived by her devoted husband, David W. Fehlman Jr., and her cherished siblings: Robert McRobbie (Lori), Jennifer Heins (Jim), Dyana McRobbie-Marczynski (Marek), and Maggie McRobbie. She held dear her relationships with her in-laws, David W. Fehlman Sr. (deceased) and Marilyn Fehlman, as well as her brothers-in-law, Jeff Fehlman (deceased) and Kevin Fehlman (Sandra).
Michele took immense joy in her role as an aunt, with nieces and nephews who adored her: Bobby (Nicole), Kyle (Bekah), Megan, Alexis (Mike), Phegie, Holly, Bryanna (Miles), Aly, Kat, Maya, Jinjer, and Jersey. Michele loved great-nephews Antonio and Junie and great nieces Penelope and Annalynn. She also eagerly anticipated the birth of her great-niece, Mina.
We would like to give a special mention for Kyle/“Puppy”, Phegie/“Buddy”, Kat/“Kit-Kat”, Alexis/“Lexico”, and Antonio/“Ant” who were on-call for Michele throughout her illness and supported her husband and siblings with round-the-clock care during her final days.
Michele loved her fur babies Blitz, Norris, Miley, and grand-pup, Ares.
Michele also cherished many aunts, uncles, and cousins who brought joy to her life. She wanted us to highlight a special mention for the Barrett Family.
Special recognition goes to Dean and Mark C, Bob and Robin T., Tom and Della L., and the many other friends and family members for their enduring friendship and support throughout the years.
Our family is especially appreciative of the dedicated nurses at Nappi Wellness Institute, Crouse IR, and the compassionate staff on fourth floor south at Crouse Hospital, whose efforts made her final days comfortable.
Michele was passionate about her job and friends/co-workers at Upstate Medical Hospital. Your support and love for her is appreciated.
Michele enjoyed going to the Syracuse Nationals Car Shows and observing classic cars with her husband. A Blue 1969 Mustang was her favorite classic car.
Michele loved live, local music. Michele adored her favorite band, “Soul Risin’,” and we express our gratitude to Bryan Weinsztok for honoring her memory at local shows and at her Celebration of Life.
Michele’s calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St, North Syracuse, NY 13212, on August 7th from 4-7 pm. Her funeral will be at 10 am with a burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Dewitt.
Michele was adamant that we “not be sad” and that we “celebrate her life.” Please join us for a Celebration of Life at the Cicero Fire Department Hall on August 10th, beginning at noon.
Though we grieve her loss, we find comfort in knowing that Michele is free from suffering. She was an extraordinary person whose spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
