In Loving Memory of Miles Parrotta
Miles Parrotta passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind a family who loved him dearly and will miss him beyond words.
Miles served in the United States Navy. He loved to read, cook, create art, listen to music, and spend time with the people closest to him. He had a love for astronomy, the stars, planets, and the mysteries of the universe. He enjoyed looking through his telescope at the night sky and finding peace in the stars above.
Miles was a talented artist and an exceptional cook. Some of the most cherished memories of him are the simple ones spent in the kitchen, cooking together, listening to music, and enjoying time as a family.
Music was a big part of Miles's life. He especially loved The Beatles, though he enjoyed many different kinds of music. Whether it was a favorite song playing, a meal being made, a book in his hand, or time spent creating art, Miles found joy in the things he loved.
One of his greatest joys was being "Pop Pop" to Anthony and Alonzo. He loved spending time with them, especially taking walks in nature and sharing moments that will be remembered forever.
Miles was preceded in death by his father, John Parrotta; his mother, Arlene Parrotta; and his sister, Cynthia Lou Parrotta.
He is survived by his siblings, Joe Parrotta (Kathy), John Parrotta, Terry Davis (William), and Tom Parrotta (Jody); his children, Anthony, Alicia (William), Savannah, Joshua, and Cyndi; his beloved grandchildren, Anthony, Alonzo, Jaxon, and Myles; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Miles will be remembered for his love of music, his cooking, his artwork, his love of reading, and the memories he created with those who loved him.
His memory will live on in the songs we hear, the meals we share, the artwork he created, and every glance toward the night sky.
May he rest in peace among the stars he loved so much.
